This site has been produced for me to showcase my PhD research on institutions and decentralised urban water management. I am nearing the completion of my research, and will soon be looking for employment. This will most likely be in the area of water policy development or participative planning processes for the Australian water industry. However, I also have an interest international water and sanitation - particularly at the local scale for the world's poorest communities.

The conference was a great opportunity both to showcase my work and also to meet many potential future collaborators and employers in the Australian water industry. I also was fortunate to receive a prize of membership in the Australian Mentor Centre.

A slightly modified version of the paper I presented at the conference will be published in the May issue of the Australian Water Association's journal Water.
